Hotel Hotel is the result of an intense collaboration between more than fifty designers, architects and artists. It’s spread over three floors of NewActon’s Nishi building, an environmentally sustainable apartment and retail block with a Japanese-inspired design, which has become a bit of a local landmark.
Nishi’s standout design features make it Canberra’s most sustainable mixed-use building complex. This includes recycling all water from the building using an Ozone Water System for cleaning, using sensor lights in all rooms to save energy and sourcing food as locally as possible to minimise food miles and packaging.
Tenants can benefit from its innovative solar heat retention principles. Where the average accommodation energy rating in Canberra is only 2.5 star, Nishi delivers an average 8 star NaTHERS rating as well as providing the highest rated appliances, fixtures & fittings.
